विस्तार

शाब्दिक रूप से 'बे-पनाह' का अर्थ बिना शरण या आश्रय का है, किंतु शायरी में यह प्रायः असीम, तीव्र और अप्रतिरोध्य शक्ति के अर्थ में आता है। प्रस्तुत शे'र में 'सैल-ए-बे-पनाह' ऐसे बेकाबू और प्रचंड सैलाब की ओर संकेत करता है जिससे कोई पनाह मुमकिन नहीं।
