प्रयोग

Commonly employed in classical ghazal to link the physical luster/grain (jauhar) of steel and mirrors with creative manifestation or metaphysical essence (substance). Formed with the Arabic/Persian compounds 'jauhar' (essence, grain of steel/mirror) and 'ījād' (invention, bringing into being). Combined as a Persianate compound adjective (muraqqab-e-tausīfī). Self-regard is imagined as creating the delicate down (khatt-e sabz) as a natural mirror-grain.
