'कम-आमेज़ी' का अर्थ लोगों से मेल-जोल न रखने या अलग-थलग रहने की प्रवृत्ति है। इस शे'र में यह 'गर्म-गुफ़्तारी' (उत्साहपूर्ण बातचीत) के विपरीत आया है, जहाँ शायर का महफ़िल से अचानक किनारा कर लेना सबको हैरान और परेशान कर देता है।

व्युत्पत्ति

Persian compound formed from 'kam' (little/few) + 'āmez' (stem of 'āmekhtan', to mix/mingle) + abstract noun suffix '-ī'.

प्रयोग
