   अर्थ: From the heavens arrives an answer to my cries at last; / They deign to address me, and the veils are cast aside at last.

2. मय-ख़ाना-ए-यूरोप के दस्तूर निराले हैं लाते हैं सुरूर अव्वल देते हैं शराब आख़िर

   अर्थ: Strange are the ways of Europe's tavern hall: first comes intoxication, and wine is served last of all.

3. ख़ल्वत की घड़ी गुज़री जल्वत की घड़ी आई छुटने को है बिजली से आग़ोश-ए-सहाब आख़िर

   अर्थ: The hour of seclusion has passed, the hour of manifestation is near; from the embrace of the cloud at last, the lightning prepares to appear.

4. था ज़ब्त बहुत मुश्किल इस सैल-ए-मआ'नी का कह डाले क़लंदर ने असरार-ए-किताब आख़िर

   अर्थ: To stem this surging flood of meaning proved too hard a task; at last, the free-souled mystic revealed the hidden secrets of the Book.
