The simple seeker has wept until he is purified; may God grant this same grace to the Sheikh too.

This beautiful couplet speaks about the journey of spiritual purity. The 'Murid-e-Sada' (the simple disciple) achieves profound purity simply through tears and devotion. The poet, Allama Iqbal, expresses a deep wish that this divine grace, this state of 'tayyib' (blessed purity), should not only remain with the disciple but should also be granted to the spiritual guide, the Sheikh.
