Ghazal
हासिल से हाथ धो बैठ ऐ आरज़ू-ख़िरामी
This ghazal delves into the anguish of unfulfilled desires and the futility of ambition, urging one to abandon the fruits of their striving. The poet expresses a deep sense of incompleteness and sorrow, portraying himself as an extinguished flame bearing the scars of what could not be. It further explores themes of suffering, betrayal, and the inherent, often destructive, power of beauty and fate.
