Ghazal
गर तुझ को है यक़ीन-ए-इजाबत दुआ न माँग
This ghazal advises against prayer born of certainty or desire, suggesting that true faith might not require asking, or that a desireless heart is paramount. It delves into the speaker's profound inner suffering and regret, pleading with God not to count sins when the heart bears countless scars of unfulfilled longing. Ultimately, it portrays an extreme devotion where even a martyred lover seeks nothing but the beloved.
