Ghazal

एक एक क़तरे का मुझे देना पड़ा हिसाब

Mirza Ghalib· Ghazal· 10 shers· radif: था

This ghazal laments the heavy price of love and life's experiences, where the poet had to account for every drop of his heart's blood. It speaks of shattered hopes and a city of desires in mourning, reflecting on the pain of broken dreams. The verses convey a deep sense of despair, sacrifice, and the sharp agony found even in the illusion of loyalty.
